Part 4 - Consequenses

You probably wonder how he got away with nuking a town and sending ghouls to kill another? The answer is he didnt. Such evil acts cant be done without consequences. Warned that he now had a bounty on his head he packed his guns and ammo and some food and headed north. But the bounty hunters caught up with him. It was a clear night and the moon was up. Johannicus had just exited an old Powerstation when 3 men in coats came walking up the broken road to the station. When they came closer, close enough to distinguish their faces they yelled at him; Are you Johannicus? Not knowing who they where he answered; What if I am? They told him they had a bounty to bring him in, dead or alive. Without a hint Johannicus dropped to one knee and fired his rifle and hitting one of them in the leg. While they where busy finding cover, Johannicus toke cover behind a big power relay. He toke a quick peek to see where they where hiding and in the space of a few heartbeats he knew where they where. Crouching and running behind cover he circled around them to the left and toke careful aim and as the closest one poped his head out to look he fired and hit the guy in the head. He then ran back behind cover before the others had a chance to see where the shot had exactly come from.
He then circled around them to the right and put a bullet thru the other mans head. He now heard the wounded mans gasps of pain behind some rocks. He didnt take any chance with a possible ambush so he just lobbed a grenade over it and after it went off a silence settled in. He waited a bit extra before hurriedly looting the men for spare gun parts and ammo. He also found some medical supplies and the bounty note. Apperantly he is considered armed and dangerous and not recommended capturing alive. They only needed to bring his head as proof. Something these three found out quickly enough. He knew that next time he would probably not be as lucky as this time. Next time they would probably not be rookies. After putting the loot in his backpack he continued north, heading towards two huge satelite towers. Maybe they would be of intrest.
